Misha Tyutyunik a.k.a MDot is a Ukrainian born, prolific painter, muralist, street artist and illustrator, living and working out of Brooklyn, New York.

Misha Tyutyunik aka MDot is a Ukrainian born, prolific, painter, muralist, street artist and illustrator, living and working out of Brooklyn, New York. A graduate of Pratt Institute, he has been making art his whole life and is slowly but surely taking over the New York City art scene. His murals grace walls throughout the five boroughs, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Miami, and Mexico and his paintings and illustrations have been sold all over the world. Misha has worked with and been commissioned by brands like Zumiez, Vans, NBC, Cat Footwear, Amtrak, and VIBE Magazine (to name a few) to create public artwork, illustrations and live paintings.

His extensive resume incudes a mural collaboration with prominent street artist Swoon on the infamous Bowery Wall, commemorating Hurricane Sandy victims, a commissioned mural for NBC’s hit show ‘THE BLACKLIST’, numerous illustrations for VIBE magazine, a live mural for an event for Zumiez at the House of Vans, collaborations with Crown Royale and Cat Footwear, as well as Coca Cola, the History Channel and A&E. Mr. Tyutyunik was also commissioned by Amtrak to do a huge backlit mural inside the Barclays Center, was flown out to Michigan by Cat Footwear, where he painted a large mural on a silhouette of Cat Machinery, as well as pair of custom boots, jacket and jeans; he has also traveled to Holbox Island in Mexico where he was an honored guest of IPAF Festival, painting a mural along with many other artists, on the walls of the island.

Beyond that, the artist has done countless live painting events for establishments such as the Dream Hotel, Bryant Park Hotel, The Avenue of the Americas Association, the House of Vans, Le Poisson Rouge, Sing Sing Avenue A, and created live masterpieces for Big Boi of Outkast’s record release showcase at SOB’s, the annual gala for the Montreal Planatarium, and a In Heroes We Trust pop up for Artists and Fleas in Brooklyn. Misha has exhibited his paintings all over New York, Austin TX, Miami and abroad, most notably in prominent galleries on the Upper East Side by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Chelsea Art District, and the Lower East Side. He has sold work to many private collectors and continues to do so.

He has just finished a towering 150ft plus mural in SoHO, commissioned by the avid art collector and real estate developer Aby Rosen, for his new posh hotel 11 Howard, and followed it up with a successful solo exhibition at Melet Mercantile, called ‘The Internal Muse’. He is currently working on personal projects at his studio in Brooklyn, creating his first custom clothing, footwear and headwear line, and facilitating mural projects all over New York and abroad.
